Away And Into LifeA Poem by Fallen RayneA poem about life.
The morning light approaches
with a steadfast gait, Lumbering forth up through the clouds, never hesitates; Spilling over the lip of the horizon, Instructing the brown and grey birds to rise in Birds of prey, birds of song, Beautiful birds, all bouncing along. The chilling still air, ripe with the dew, Moistening the vegetation, and in the earth accrues. Worms unearth themselves to escape the coming flood, Soon to be devoured by the birds all out for blood. Leaves begin to rise up to soak the now bright sun, Leaving little light to linger through the lofty tons. Skies of blue begin to bloom, and saturate the red, Day lilies poke their tired heads up from the flowerbed. Overcome by such sensations, lovely sights and bright carnations, I forget my daily bores and constant nagging tribulations. © 2022 Fallen Rayne |
