Working

Kanga gets a job at Latias's cafe.

In Latias's cafe. Kanga comes in and falls to the floor.

Kanga: So..... hungry!

Nidorina: He needs food!

Latias: OK! We'll give him lots of food!

Kanga is given a lot of food. He eats it all and becomes full. Latias gives him a bit of paper.

Kanga: What's this?

Latias: The money you have to pay for the food!

Kanga: I don't have any money!

Latias: NO MONEY?!

Latias locks the door.

Latias: OK, Kanga! If you're not prepared to pay with money, you'll pay with working! You will work behind the counter!

Kanga: OK.

Kanga walks behind the counter. A phone rings. Kanga picks it up.

Guy on phone: Is this Latias's cafe?

Kanga: No! This is Kanga!

Kanga puts the phone down. It rings again and Kanga picks it up.

Guy on phone: Is this Latias's cafe?

Kanga: No! This is Kanga!

Kanga puts the phone down. It rings again and Kanga picks it up.

Guy on phone: Is this Latias's cafe?

Kanga: NO!!! THIS IS KANGA!!!

Kanga slams the phone down.

Kanga: I'm not a Latias's cafe!

Nidorina: Err... Kanga! That's the name of the place!

Kanga: What?

Latias: OK, so maybe this isn't the best job for you!

Latias carries Kanga into the kitchen.

Latias: Now you help Nidorina with the food!

Kanga picks up a fork and starts scratching his back with it.

Kanga: This is a great back scratcher!

Latias takes the fork off him.

Latias: Give me that!

Kanga works with Nidorina. He puts burgers on the grill. He is next seen with a fire extinguisher, spraying the burgers with it.

Kanga: Burgers are done!

They're burnt. Latias looks at the customers.

Customer 1: Here burnt my burger!

Customer 2: He burnt my chips!

Customer 3: He burnt my drink!

Everyone leaves.

Latias: That's it!

Latias picks up Kanga and brings him to another room.

Latias: Here's a job even a stupid idiot like you couldn't screw up! You throw these bags in here!

Latias throws a rubbish bag in a shredder.

Latias: If you fail this job, you'll never eat here again!

Kanga quickly starts throwing the bags in the shredder. Latias is talking to Nidorina.

Latias: I want you to take this bag of money and store it away!

Nidorina takes the bag and passes a closed door where the shredder and Kanga is.

Nidorina: Let's see how Kanga's doing!

Nidorina opens the door. Kanga is trying to stuff all the bags down.

Nidorina: What's wrong?

Kanga: I've got to get rid of this rubbish, but it won't go down!

Nidorina: That's because you forgot to flick the on switch!

Nidorina turns the shredder on and all the bags go down.

Kanga: Yay! I'm all done!

Kanga notices Nidorina's bag.

Kanga: Oh no! I missed one!

Kanga takes the bag and throws it in.

Nidorina: Kanga! That's not rubbish!

The shredder gets jammed. Latias is outside.

Latias: Let's see how Kanga's getting on!

Latias opens the door and the shredder explodes. The cafe is destroyed. There is shredded money floating to the floor.

Kanga: Can I have something to eat now?
