-Yulan / Uhlen-

Stars flickering above, waves lapping the shores, train sounds
Cold night braved, shift begins at the community, making rounds
Uncle Dupey's across the branch, between old Shawnee mounds

C & O for Progress says the caboose on the loose,
somewhere near the banks of Uhlen, and got time to ruin

Pans buttered, pots filled, skillets frying, no time for dying
Elders in institutions, banishment solutions, no time for lying
Beloved nonetheless by the slaving staff, there's no denying

Halliburton in white on big red truck, hauling a huge hydraulic pump,

headed to the Marcellus with haste, and got lots of land to ruin

Pig iron furnaces, stones stacked now scattered, forgotten past
Route 23 Hotel California where mamaw and papaw can have a blast
Profits to be made, backhoe digs under shade, and another name cast

More bluejays and march lillies in the commonwealth,
somehwere near the banks of Uhlen, and loving it
