Love me

With self worth comes allowing in only pure love. This is an exploration of purity, of wanting to be treated how I deserve- without agendas and expectations.

Be kind with your actions and your words,
gentle like when holding a squishy mini frog
we found while searching the tall grass.
Be dependable.
Show me I'm valuable to you,
something you keep sacred.
Treat me with respect;
show me that you believe I am
worthy and deserving.
Tie the teabag to the handle
because you think, oh, she'll like this
and it'll be more comfortable while she drinks.
Want me. Desire me. Devour me with your kisses
because you can't not.
Open up your heart to me,
to let me see the crevices
and wipe away the cobwebs.
Be free with me, be you.
Let me be me.
Let me be
with you

It is an expression of what's in my heart, whether it makes for good poetry, I don't know.

This was really adorable. I would probably only point out that there is an area in the beginning that makes the poem a little harder to follow. The story about the mini frog kind of throws off the rhythm, but overall, it's a very nice piece. It's honest and true.
