Sarah Pearl

Sarah Pearl

A Poem by Felicity Lister
"

A love poem between two of my characters, I think it turned out pretty well.

"
I love her because she's a Keats poem, my sweet sleeping Pearl
The moment that I think of her I can forget the rest of the world
I love her for her mocha eyes and for every piece of art
And that when she see's me I'm ten times as strong and smart
I love and hate the way she pries like she already knows
She's my England's America and my Tenth Doctor's Rose
I love the way she worries when I call her by her name
And the way her eyes shine when she speaks of love,
it takes my breath away
