Crossroad

A Poem by Just a Poet
"

When a global civilization is headed towards chaos and ruin, what are we to do?

"
Snow is falling in July
Ash from buildings and bodies alike.
Towers of hell come in fiery reign
Sent by mad men with evil domain
When man conquers himself
He must too, lose.
See we are all one people
Only one side to choose
Do we let go and thrive?
Or conquer; and lose?
-
No more structures of power above us
Unless that power is love; no others.
We all know the saying
“Root of all evil”
Money is nothing but chains on our people.
No currency is fit to govern our trade.
All except one; love is its name
Nations and borders; invisible lines
I see but Earth and her beautiful ties
We are meant to bond together and build
Only love can do that. It is our mortar; our guild.
Release your illusions before it's too late.
For snow in July marks the last of our date.
