Sorry Isn't Cutting It

Sorry Isn't Cutting It

A Poem by Jessica
"

About how my friend is expecting me to talk to her because she is saying she misses me after the crap she pulled on me when I trusted her.

"
You think that just because you say you miss me
I'll welcome you back with open arms
Today, sorry isn't enough for me
Nothing can make up for the s**t you put me through

It was supposed to be a vacation
A time away from worries
But I was awoken time after time
With you on my cell, pleading with him to stop his yelling

You had $100
To spend on yourself
You buy him two nice shirts
And he wants DC shoes!

How can you be with that?
You let him rule your life!
You were willing to step on me for him
How can I trust you again?

I sometimes miss the old times
When we'd joke and laugh and smile
But those times are over
You aren't the friend I had in sixth grade
I don't know you anymore

Author's Note

Jessica
This is not about my ex. This is about my former best friend. She stepped all over me and got me in a lot of hot water with my parents. And tonight, she is saying she misses me. I'm not taking it.
