No More Crying

No More Crying

A Poem by Alariyana

A time when death will stop in place
And laughter turn to dust
Empty eyes cry empty tears
A lost and tarnished trust

Memories of a time forgot
When cruelty was a myth
Ah, would that I could return to those days
And the one I long to be with

But death's dark charm, too well ignored
Quenched the light, so bright it shone
So I dissolve into the rain
Death's sweet embrace, at last my own
