My Outer Shell

My Outer Shell

A Poem by Kira
"

It's cracking.

"

Here I stand, with an outstretched hand,

A smile in my eye

Toasting life and memories

Every laugh and every sigh.

Here I am, plain as day,

My lips locked on this lie,

As I hold out my hand, but hold back the tears,

I say I'm happy, and I die inside.

Actually...it's just right for the ink that wished to be woven and come into sight.
I've had days like this... Never easy...but hey! Like the wind, life can get breezy. Throw up that sail and let the wind carry you into new realms of imagination!

I like your clear images that shine with your ink!

Hugs!
