A bewildering chain

A bewildering chain

A Poem by Flower

What a bewildering chain of kind words,
A fascinating combination
Displaying the likes and dislikes of a tongue
You were so familiar with.

I wish i could say that you became to love
It's corners and crevices more each day,
But each day, your mind grew weary and damaged.

Now, the bewildering chain of kind words
Is but a distant memory
Faded by lack of care and a loss of love.

So, i wish i could say that your tongue craved mine
For, because of me, I too grew weary and damaged.

Despite saying you wouldn't, you left me,
Afraid and scared with nowhere to go;
Because you weren't strong and escaped my mind,
Only leaving me with fear, read messages, and loneliness.
