Fast Pace

She did everything for him that she could.

Gave him all the attention that she wished he would.

Spent everyday together as if it were the last.

Even though he was always still thinking about his past.

He hit her up with “we’re going too fast”.

So she decided that if he didn’t see a future with her, to leave him in the past.

She wished it was that easy to just let him go.

She tried to keep her feelings locked and disguised in the shadows.

As time went by, love grew for him deep inside.
