A Seamless Dream

A Seamless Dream

A Poem by Dominik D. Rites
"

A poem I wrote that may or may not have been inspired by Edgar Allan Poe...

"
Death, as it would seem, Is but a seamless dream. A still crow in a still meadow, Awaiting far down below. Though many would fear, As their time grows near, Few live normally, And address their fate so sincere, So formally.

I'm not very good at poetry, but this is one of the best poems I've ever written.

Honestly I adore Poe, I feel as though you've really caught that essence he has, and would love to read some more, if you returned to poetry!

I enjoyed this. Well done. It's almost foreboding and quite dark. But in Poe's extraordinarily setting. Keep writing!
