Ring Around a Rosy

Ring Around a Rosy

A Poem by Mikey Mike

Children frolic about

The painted world melting

Their smiles upside down

Happiness abundant

Knives falling on their eyelids

Monsters not far

Ring around a Rosy

Giggle now for soon you shall weep

They’ve cut their little eyes out

Burnt them to ash

Paint dripping

Colours fading

Smiles melted

Only his grin remains

Knives in their eyes

They’re blind

He chuckles for his story

He dances

A blank canvas

A Blank face
