The Long Awaited Kiss

The Long Awaited Kiss

A Poem by Samantha.

A simple hug

A taunting touch

A long to be together once more

The sweet and salty taste upon your lips

Loves taunting fragrance to your heart drips

One hand reached for

Another grasped

A half faced smile,

Wondering if this moment will last

It hardly happens for the benefit of one of you

Without it the other could scarcely do

People say what your doing is wrong

But all they sound like is an over dramatic song

Will you make the mark or will you miss

When you lean in for this long awaited kiss

I really loved this because there seemed to be some type of conflict with the little love affair type deal. People just didn't approve. I really love this type of poem and I especially love the topic.
Excellent work.
