Paralysis

Paralysis

A Poem by Samantha.

Where are the ones that we call heroes

Where can they all be?

When life is tugging at my sleeve

When will they return to me?

Darkness comes burning hearts are consumed

Loves taunting heart has lost one too many battles

Hopeless scorn is now to plague it

There are things that go bump in the night

They are now cornering you in fright

You scream so loud your voice goes hoarse

Now you loose your movement of course

Your heart beats but can you feel it

Well no one cares if you do I have to admit

The fear crawls through you like a virus

But now you’re over come by a splash of paralysis

The first paragraph was positively enchanting. The picture is beautiful. Perhaps the other three can use better rhymes, though, but I think it is, overall, an amazing first draft. Kudos!
