A Passionate Display

A Passionate Display

~ A Passionate Display ~

Volatile, misconstrued, at our best an-

Avid conundrum,

Speaking in our-

Double-sword tongues we,

Passionately throw ourselves,

In the torrent, bodies flashing, roaring,

Incoherent, ill-abusing,

Walking in the way of the sinful lair,

Streaked with red and flame,

Besting, working, creating, needing,

A passionate lustful sore-

That’s opened in our hearts

Working out our throats,

Gesticulating, madly-

As bodies sweat and pump wildly,

With thunder-crackling veins, explode-

Seeking a recompense,

For all the wrongs been done to us,

While we still walk hand in hand,

Together-

Hearts bleeding with zealous love,

Sore from the electric pumping,

As we rest the organ thankfully,

Until it again begins to throb . . .

And our faces alight-

With that telltale flush,

Cultural efficiency at its best,

Courses in our blood,

While in we happily settle,

For an endearing argument,

Unable to thrive it would seem,

Without the vivacity,

Of our heated roots,

As forever we love and fight,

And smooth our ruffled feathers,

For we are birds I trust,

Of the most beautiful markings,

That one can imagine . . .
