How incredibly beautiful and yet, essentially concise.

What a finely laid senryu, Fran!! It always amazes me at the depth of a writer's words within such a smal space..you've achieved it seemingly instinctively. Leaving a great lesson of how to say far less than I have and yet given so much more meaning! Thank you for showing how.

Some who've read my true stories may know, my dad was a sexual abuser (unforgivable). But at the same time, I have to honor the many ways dad led me to be how I am naturally inclined -- loving words, reading often, honoring mother earth & nature, & other legacies. I would ask my dad the meaning of any word & he went into a long explanation, including etymology. This rare gift is what your poem reminds me of (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
