Yes a real star of the silver screen. I remember him as Robin Hood. Such a handsome fella, and rumour has it very well endowed in the family jewels department :) Nice little tribute here Fran. He died so young and I can't remember why. I think Google is going to get a visit.

Some actors change completely to adapt to a role & other actors pour themselves, their own magic, into every role. I don't know Flynn as an actor, but I know exactly what you mean about how the magic of the personality is the major part of the magic of how an actor plays a role (((HUGS)))
