Death's ShowA Poem by Fran MarieOnce upon a night so dreary my sleepy eyes were tired and teary I tossed and turned in dreams so weary 'twas all too eerie,it had me wary Shadows under eerie trees bounced with howling wind sounds so pronounced scary black cats with talon claws pounced a dark dreadful nightmare I renounced Golden fog floats on rain damp air upon death's cold tombstones standing there skeltons dancing with deadly stare this nighmare was more than I could bare! Golden beams of sunlight go and dark shadows control the flow and a firey hell awaits my final blow 'Alas, my death's show, I now must go. © 2010 Fran MarieReviews
