I'm finally set, ready to go. *Phone Rings* It's Aunt Kathy, boy does she have the gift to gab. I guess I've a moment. Finally, an hour later, I'm all caught up on the family gossip. Let's begin! *Ding* Damn, dryer is done. Off to laundry room. Gosh, it's seems a batch of clothes take forever to fold. But, now I'm done, let's start. *Scratch and whimper* Lucy needs a walk, poor girl. So, we traipse through the neighborhood. Returning home, I clean up my desk. Maybe I wasn't meant to write today. I guess I will try tomorrow, instead.

I really liked this! So real in the telling of how the daily throngs of just living can get us side-tracked...we can write about it all another day...Enjoyable read.

Thank you. I'm glad, I'm sure it's something we have all experienced.
Excellent. Procrastination at its best.

Oh my favorite!!! Lol no worries, I'm behind myself. Thanks
I feel as if you have said something very honest about yourself and anyone who finds themselves in a trap of to-do's. Very well done indeed. The story feels rushed, but this only adds to the effect. It's so well don't in its visuals that I could almost close my eyes and watch the events play out. Lovely.

Thank you, I appreciate your kind words.
Life often gets in the way doesn't it. The real problem is when there's time but nothing to put on the page. At least for me anyway.

Yes, I have that happen too, sometimes. Thanks for reading my story.
Yes, the feeling we know so well. Always something on our mind but the thing we want. Always something needs doing, at the expense of putting things off, and when we finally get that pen in hand, you'll think to yourself "What was I thinking of?"
Great short write, can totally relate to this.
