This poem speaks strongly to me right now. Lately I have been caught between wanting to be myself and wanting to be what everyone else wants me to be. It is exhausting being what everyone wants you to be. And now I have no friends because I have finally decided that it is time to stop stressing myself out by not living up to their expectations. Thank you for writing what was on my mind haha. Great piece.
