Red mouth

Red mouth

A Poem by Frank Brambosch

I wish that I could kiss this mouth,
so red, red like love, red like blood.
Blood is juice of life, and love is south
of everything that’s bad. A hood,

a shelter against the storms in life.
Babe, I like the redness of your lips.
I wish you could be my lovely wife.
Everyday I could embrace your hips.

How this would make me happy, oh!
Looking in your cute face in early day,
what happiness. I bet there’s good show
everywhere your beauty goes her way.

Oh, babe, can I be in love with you?
This would be utter happiness.
Please allow for me to woo
your heart. I’m happy, I confess.
