Which occupation?

Which occupation?

A Poem by Frank Brambosch

What should be my occupation?
Is it gaining the material stuff?
I think this doesn’t fit in my equation
of a life that’s good. Love

is all I need. The stuff is second.
The real is in the mind and heart.
No time for useless things to spend.
The superficial but a fart.

I don’t need cars and houses, no gold
The only thing I need is you
and our love will then enfold
in our daily courtesy and woo.

I love your face just like your soul.
You truly have the purest mind.
Just like you I feel so much in our
act of love. So high. So kind.
