Fall

Fall

A Story by FreeSpiritDork

I am standing in a field. All around me I see land. Nothing but land. I feel content with where I stand, but I am pushed to walk. It is a briskful pace that I accelerate into a medium speed jog. Still, I am content, but at the same time I'm pushed faster. Now, I'm sprinting. As I am running through the field, I see the ending and it is a cliff. I don't stop. I leap off the edge and grab on to the mountain side, having second thoughts. I look down and see you at the bottom. You yell that you'll catch me. I'm hesitant, but I let go of the edge and fall into your arms. Your embrace is tighter and shows more love than a mother's.

Very well written again. Every time they tell me they will catch me I end up smacking the ground, Ha Ha

Thanks, and eventually you'll find someone who will catch you.
seems this story's theme has to do with faith, and not letting go of something that you believe in, no matter how difficult

a very nicely done short short

a promising literary career^

I'm just trying to get my voice out there, of course, that's what everyone else is doing too. I'll show them how to do it the right way though. I express my feeling through poetry and my dreams.. more..
