Delivered Blessings

Delivered Blessings

A Poem by LadyMay

Air smells crisp as an apple
Birds are singing sweet songs
Planes are destined for final destinations
Dogs bark out in need of communication
Insects elegantly scurry the pavement
Flowers bud from freshly watered grounds
New life prevails thru cracks in the sidewalk
Leaves dance in the slightest evenings breeze
Clouds scoot across the bright blue sky
Mother sings her sweet song to me
Painting the picture of existence
My starving soul needs

I open my heart to the pleasantries of these
Wondering if this is all that could be
While knowing there’s more
For both you and me
If we open our eyes
And I mean all three
To what Our God
Has delivered for Thee
