Hope

Never did I imagine many years ago that life would take me on these many journeys, through so many trials and lessons to be learnt.
I ask myself how did I get here and where am I going, becoming afraid of the many bridges I have burnt.
As long as the fear of going nowhere remains, I feel a calm, for that means my dreams in life still remain.
If I can just push through this valley, surely my life long goals I'll soon obtain.
So I'll keep my eyes on the future and push through the storms of today.
Hoping for a better tomorrow and living for the moment, but in this valley refusing to stay.
