Changes (written Dec02)

Frustration, rage, hatred and spite

Jealousy, anger, weakness and flight

Some of them outward, far more in my mind

Yet years down the line, some changes you'll find

Not quite so sleepless, or scared of the night

More confident, happier, more will to fight

Still confussed sometimes and unable to see

If someone is honest and trughfull with me

Most changes are good ones, my confidence built again

Liking my independance, more able to cope with pain

A great love to guide me, now our paths drifting away

Like each man I always thought would stay

Wishing I could trust men and give one my all

But so afraid to go that high, it's a long way to fall
