Crashed.

Crashed.

A Poem by Ellie W. Montreal
"

And then I crashed into you, And I went up in flames. Could have been the death of me, But then you breathed your breath in me.

"
I am in control of my life.
Driving at my own speed.
No one can stop me on this highway.
Day after day, not another driver speeds up to me.
Until you came along.

I am [somewhat] in control of my life.
Driving at a measured speed to catch up with you.
When you stop, I stop; When you speed, I speed.
I'm so used to my speed, that I can't catch up to you on this highway.
Until you turn your back round.

I am losing control of my life.
Driving faster & slower, playing games.
You speed up, don't even think to slow down; You're heading my way!
I realize, you don't want me on this highway.
A head on collision had occured.

I have lost control of my life.
I drove for someone else instead of speeding for me.
When I drove slow & fast for you, I stopped my own car.
I should have seen this coming, one way or another.
Now I have to repair & improve.

Oh wow. I've never tasted a more delicious brew of metaphor. Amazing. Many, many kudos.
