When I think of you

When I think of you

A Poem by Jessica Fulcher

When I think of us I feel fingertips,
Running over my skin, down my back, through my hair
Fingertips of yours, fingertips I love.
When I think of us I hear voices,
Singing the words too loud and smiling, I love you,
Whispering with the lights out.. I love you more.
Voices of yours, voices of mine.
When I think of us I hear laughter
Because together we are happy, rolling down the hill,
Blowing on your tummy, giggles after giggles, in each other's arms, we lose our age;
Laughter making us grow stronger.
When I think of us I feel teardrops,
Because this love means so much, never have I felt this deep,
I know you're worth it all,
Tears of mine are finally drying.
When I think of us I feel comfort,
And trust like I can't describe,
You're not just my babe, you're my best of all friends,
Comfort between us, you can't find.
When I think of us I feel so much,
Overwhelming everything.
Passion of your deep embrace.
Honesty that never fails.
Found in stories, played in songs.
When I think of you I feel love.
