I wrote this 2 years ago when I was 16

it's not like i want to need you
all i want is to be strong
but i can't stop my heart from longing
every night when i'm alone
it's not like i want to miss you
i'd love to go a day
without thinking about your smiling face
and the things you used to say
it's not like i want to love you 
i wish it wasn't true
i'd love to deny it without knowing im lying
because my heart knows that i do..
