A Poem by Brandon M. Whittaker

The disbelief of what you've done

Is like a scar on the mind

Now I feel so numb

There isn't a thing I wouldn't do

To help myself get rid of the feeling

That your only goal is to make me suffer

If only I could make you suffer

It would even the scales

And your wrath would reach an end

Break away from your rotten ways

The red lettered corruption of your soul

The nymphetamine angel of your nightmares

Soars above me now with guilt and disdain

If this is the end

Then it could never be so beautiful

For your downfall

Shall be shared by mine.

OK.. wait! lol I just read your tag that you're home. Yay!! Disregard that part in my earlier review. So glad you're safe!

Brandon.. again, this saddens me. It's difficult for me to speak intelligently on the content since my a*s is stateside and you are over there fighting a war. So, I will leave that alone, but do know that the thoughts which your current surroundings give you is painful to read, so I can't begin to imagine its actual pain.

You are a great writer! If this is how you write when you feel void of creativity, well I can't wait to see what you come up with once your back home!

Awesome work. Be safe my friend. As always, my prayers are with you.
