Moonlight flutters
beguiled beams...

Shadows of phantasm
lurking through the window
attempting aghasting validation...

To the moon's disdain
these sleepy eyes witness
tender rollicks...

Quiet shadow ballet
through the windowsill stage
accompanied by
a chorus of melodic dusk dragons....

Delighted beholders pleased
with fragile applause from
the bending arms of an elm
and the flowing wings of night doves...

Sleepy eyes fervent hopes
the moon perceives it's purpose
as that of conciliator,
performer of docile slumber
and to a dreamer
