HOW DO I CONVINCE HER

HOW DO I CONVINCE HER

A Poem by a Messenger

I have fallen deep in love
for the first time in my life,
and if she would have me
I'd make her my wife.

But she does not believe
that what I say is real,
when I say I'll not leave
nor change what I feel.

How do I convince her?
How do I make her believe
that nothing short of dieing
could ever make me leave?

Why won't she believe me
that my love is only hers?
Why does she believe that
I speak empty words?

I will never love again.
No one else will claim
this heart that turns over
when I hear her name.

I would do anything
to make her believe
that my love is true
and I'll never leave.

I sense such desperation in your words. Reality is this: there will be those who enter our life that we love and cannot have. To declair that as the end of your own personal journey of love is a choice. I had a man once tell me these very same things...Oh wait! I have had more than one...no, more than three. And yet I still sit alone. LIfe is the pits and love sometimes is the very bottom of that pit.

I now believe that the love of my children and myself and above those, God is most important of all! In the end, it is all in God's hands anyway.

I have resent you a friends request I do hope you accept...

So beautiful and written from the heart. To convince her, show her this and if that doesn't convince her, then nothing will. XX

This is such a beautiful poem, Jerry. Full of love. Sometimes us girls are weird. It's not that we do not believe, rather that we're going through things within ourselves that are difficult to explain.
