Superstar

Superstar

A Poem by Gabrielle Linch

Ice glacier blue eyes, peer through my cold soul.
His lips a light rosy pink of wonder.
My beating heart is what he simply stole.
His charming soft laughter loud as thunder.

A heart so pure as sapphire and gold.
Beautiful smile that lights the darkness.
A care free mind that will never grow old.
A sweet love that appears to seem harmless.

Though he may not know of my existent,
I still admire him with all my heart.
My undying love for him is persistent.
But tis the distance that tears us apart.

A silent shadow loving from afar,
But that's what you get with a superstar.
