Lost in Cyberspace.

Lost in Cyberspace.

A Poem by SELF

I was born in the bowl of razor blades
my skin filled with stitches and my heart wrapped up in scars
raised and shaped in the house of iniquity
my life had sorrows and my mind carried un-imaginable burdens
but then You came Along
You came un-noticed, like a thief in the night
you came un-noticed and our companionship begun.

Who knew

I never believed in love at first tight until I saw You
even with my impaired vision, I saw You.
You immediately knew what was in my heart, yet what was in Yours was a complete mystery
it was un-perceivable, but my scarred heart conjured up extra pumps for You in the name of Trust
You smoothened my skin and turned my mind into a feather
You brought an un-dying light in the dark grave of my insecurities and fears.
You calmed my mental storms and put to bed all my misery

would I need a slap on my face?
Would I snap back to reality and realize that it was all some kind of dream?
Will I?

I snapped back to reality, only to realize that You were there too
In fact, the only reality was You.
