Unhappy Uniqueness

Unhappy Uniqueness

A Poem by Gaia Octavia

I wonder if snowflakes,
being forced so together,
are ever bitter about
the impossibility
of finding another
quite like themselves

An exact lovely definition and explanation to where "coldness" originates from.

☺ Why thank you 👍
I always adore the idea of giving emotions to items and animals. Trying to consider how they -feel-. I could go on and on about your poem, but I'd just be repeating what others have said here before me.

Would enjoy reading more of your materials.
Thank you for the poem.

Thanks! I find that an interesting concept as well. Sometimes you just can't help projecting feeling.. read more
You have taken a simple idea from nature and made a universal truth out of it.
it is great,
Well done!
Alan
Would you manage a look at my poem 'Times enigma' - I think it's got to the last page of my stuff!
Thanks, Alan

Thank you, I'll take a look.
This is a very interesting thought. I think of children in a school or me at work, society as a whole forced to comply, assimilate and fit a standard; all looking alike but so very different, but not showing it much.
