This has an ecstatic feel to it. There are ups and downs, drift and confusion, and there is free will in the background. Sometimes the latter exerts itself and we alter course. And then doubt again. And so it goes on. But I approve of the theme of sticking with a chosen course. And all the signposts on the path are positve ones: light, love, joy, gain etc. Also like 'life begins every day' as it is just true. And the combining of life, love and pain...as, yes, they are all interlinked. But who are the 'we'?
I love how this piece is all embracing... the good and the bad.
Acceptence... understanding...
...beautiful imagery and wonderfully insiteful and inspiring as always.
Great work ;)

I like your insight here.
Great form, good choice of words, well painted imagery, well expressed emotions and mood/tone, well imparted message.
This piece really speaks to me. It reminds us that we have a chosen path in life. Whatever our Higher Power is, it gently leads us to the paths that were chosen for us to follow. It is up to us to whether or not to follow that path. Wonderful.
i remember the song born free free as the wind ,yes its life with its joy pain and love happiness, some say why the trouble why not lead a simple quiet life where every step is measured so we will not feel any big loss or any heartache, but as they say its only those adventurers who win this life for everything is open to them all choices ,they will lead every path if they see its fit to go like any adventure ,i like this kind of life for you never know where it will lead you will be happy times then sad then heartbroken ,but you will taste it all the sweet and the bitter ,the good and bad ,and the end could be anything you could be a king or end as a pauper, but in the end you could boast that you lived you life full ,that you really lived, great work
How beautiful.
The concept is kind of common, but the verses hold some kind of harmony I enjoyed a lot, not to mention positive energy.
I liked the image you chose for it a lot, saved it too :).
This poem, I believe, defines life for just about everyone...I believe it was Aerosmith who said 'Life's a journey, not a destination', and the journey is what you focus on in this piece. The choices, the free will...
'Life begins everyday.
And everyday a different choice.
Of how to live and
how to love
And how to begin again.'
We are human, we sleep and dream and wake each morning (or whenever, according to sleeping schedule) with a new day before us, a new journey, a new set of choices. Our yesterdays are behind us, to learn from, and before us is a clean slate in which to start over. We choose how to live each day...I find that to be very important.
'The path of light.
The path of pain
The path of love.
For isn't it all one?'
I also like this part, for it shows the unity of all these feelings, how they all go hand in hand. We love, we find pain, we grow from the experience, we continue on, to make those choices again, but hopefully with knowledege gained from past experience. I'm not saying these feelings go in that order, that was just an example, but they do interact one with another in our lives.
'Take it now
And forever more
Rejoice
For this is your choice'
And the ending, well written. 'Take it now' implying make it happen, take that chance, start your journey. 'And forever more, Rejoice' Be glad, ecstatic, for what you have, the freedom of choice, and embrace those choices, for they make you who you are and define you as a person. 'For this is your choice' this is who you choose to be, this is what you choose to do.
We live, we learn, and should be forever grateful that each day is a new day with a new set of choices set before us. Good read with a very positive outlook and meaning. Very well done.
This only shows us that life is really a journey and we do choose the paths that we want to take. And if we choose a path, we need to learn about it and feel love for it.
