New hope.

New hope.

A Poem by Gareth6d

To feel like I'm half-way through the end

Is to know that it was only my heart I couldn't mend.

We take all we could give

Yet, they say that's how we're supposed to live.

I chose a seperate path to follow.

A seperate path that everyone thought was hollow.

I'm afraid of success and I'm afraid of you.

I'm afraid because I chose to follow you.

We both share the passion for literature.

We both were made from the same mixture.

We can't control our feelings or drink.

We don't want to miss a moment, so we never blink.

I am just an empty shell for you to fill.

Before you, I only had liquor and pill.

So here I am declaring my love for you.

I only hope you can someday declare it too.
