Siren

Siren

A Poem by Gatlianne

SIREN

I feel like a siren

Calling you to me

Whispering my wants

To you

In heart beat patterns

Like waves along the rocks

Begging you to my shores

Of seduction and no demise

Though if it were demise

It would be a beautiful one

And though I call you

I will take your soul first

And leave your body for later

Though your body I will take

I will not wait long

For with your soul

The body quickly follows

Longing for me

As much

As the soul
