A Poem by Gaurav
"

To my father

"
I thought that you fought
in moments of pain,
but you hugged death
as you loved life...

Your unblemished will
suffered the loss of heart,
but never did you cry
to see us all in despair...

A life of supreme virtues
who can live except greatness?
when morals degraded
you held on the devotion...

Memories of inspirations
and future of absolute manhood
you left behind in me,
we differed, i said
but why is it
that i cherish to be You?

I want you to call me
when we illusory
watch you go in Ganges,
teach me about me
when they grant you peace..

Waiting for you
in dreams and other levels
request is to enlighten
my soul with knowledge..

So strong is your love
that i allow you
to take over,
yes take over me
'cause i know
i will be happy.
'cause
'none can measure happy or sad'

Another poem which I didn't enjoy but I can feel it....
Nothing much changes on a person's demise...only the amount of love from his close ones increases and so the amount of his/her being missed....I love the way you expressed your condolence for yourself.....Strong guy!
Thanks for sharing this one.....even if twas not easy to share... (maybe)

Words fall short to describe this grievously agonizing emotion.
I will refrain from commenting on how this poem has turned out, as nothing can ever be flawed and unfounded about the raw expression of this unadulterated sentiment of losing the loved one; nothing could aptly convey the ineffable loss, the pain, the void.
I pray you find courage and strength to cope with the loss. May his soul rest in peace.

Thank you for your prayer Neha. Appreciate the kindness.
The Father dies leaving behind in his son a future he refers to as absolute manhood, alluding to the ability that his son will be able to handle whatever life deals out. The son however, wants enlightenment from the soul of his Father to more or less take over his life and lead him on to happiness.
