Listen

This is a creative seminar that I had during highschool english, man this man is amazing.

Sweet hums dance behind his words

Everyone listens

Everyone learns

 

The music stops

Yet it remains

Holding fast to his voice

 

“Creative writers, get out your pens and paper.”

 

“Musicians, get out your instruments”

 

And thus the process begins

 

“Now listen”

 

Then away the song takes him

The spell of a woman inspires him

A woman long past away

A bitter sweet symphony

 

The last note rings true

“Tell me what you think.”

No one quite understands

Not sure what to say

A few rambling answers

Stuttered out

 

No one seems to satisfy him

So he sends us ‘creative writers’ on a mission

Make your pain beautiful

And off are we

Submerged in though

My poem is complete, yet not finished.
