Feathers weep

Feathers weep

A Poem by Gene Von Banyard

Sorrow, secret and sentient, ebbs and sighs,

She touches the frozen earth, fugues now bloom,

A tonal cry as feathers weep to eternal sleep,

She came, she came, as snow fell down.
