Dear John

I packed your things today. They will be at the side door that you first walked through when you met my parents. I felt torn about giving you the boardwalk photos, when we first kissed, but I figured you paid for them, so you should have them. The one thing that I kept was a picture of your kids by the lake on the 4^th of July�"when Johnny had sunburn real bad. It reminded me of when they asked if we were getting married�"and you said “maybe.”

I will miss them terribly.
