Aroma of cherry Wine

Aroma of cherry Wine

A Poem by Benita-Staebell M - KindredPoet
"

not about my husband Just love I forget how this came to me just popped into my head and naturally I was thinking about love as always written January 15,2014

"

The aroma  of

soft chilled cherry

wine.

It lingers in the

cellar covered

with dust.

Sweet summer

day's of romance

full of love and passion.

Those pure memories

never leave my thoughts

or spirit  they

stay with me.

Like a old fine unopened

wine bottle of love.

The sweet honey

dew aroma  of

chilled cherry wine

lingers in the cellar

covered in dust.

An unopened bottle

of  love with the Red

Roses you gave me.

They have already

wilted.

Never opened bottle

of love soft aroma of

cherry wine.

Please pour me

a glass my love.

Give those wilted

Roses some water.

I like the atmosphere the poem builds up. You can almost see the qilted roses that need water and smell the sweet wine of love.

Memories trapped in a bottle later to be recovered and love rekindled.
I like the color, looks like it was written in cherry wine.
Well done. ^^
