Bitterness

Written for a young friend he asked me to write him a poem on bitterness.

Bitterness.

Bitterness is a place
that harbors in someone
that never forgives,

They may of never
knew what love
was really
only hate.

The bitterness
can be fear to heal
and getting hurt again,

But once bitterness
knows it's welcomed
In it will never leave.

There will be no
room for love
in your heart with
Bitterness.

Bitterness steals your
youth and your
life and joy
nothing good
comes from it.

You have a nasty
Bitter taste for life
in your mouth
it isn't a feeling of
God,

Bitterness corrupts
and darkens your heart
the negativity
hurts you.

Bitterness makes
you very sick
and can kill you
from the negative
Chemicals
it spews out.

Bitterness is a
Decaying cancer
that spreads all
through
out your body.

A unforgiving
heart weeds
a slow poison
of pain a heavy
weight
that's upon your
heart,

I know this
feeling very
well and it's
painful when you
carry this
and don't know
how to heal.

Having a
unforgivable heart is a
a prison for yourself
not the person
that hurt you,

You're causing yourself
pain and your heart will
break over and over again
when it remembers
the memory no matter
how bad it was.

Once we heal and
let go move
on we won't carry these
chains upon us,

No we don't
have to say
it was at all
alright or even
acceptable the wrong
they did we just need
to free
ourselves from it.

Bitterness is a slow
Killer a enemy
we were
created to love,

I always forgive
no matter how
much I was hurt
and in time God
Will have
us testify what
happened this is
where were healed.

So is bitterness
and having
a unforgivable spirit
worth hurting yourself
and killing
the love inside.

But ones that
can't forgive and harbor
Bitterness don't know love
and don't know what love
is and there hearts aren't
right with God they're lost
and don't know him.

This is the sadness
of the world some are
not even human they
don't have God
in them just a monster
and follow the devil
and they will kill your
love if they
can and
destroy you.

Being unforgivable and
Harboring bitterness
destroys and decays any
chance of love but tears
cleanse you and
there is still a innocent
heart when tears fall there
is love and compassion in
your tears.
