A Poem by Gina Ansa
"

Reflection In Sayings

"

A Renewed me has learnt not to throw the baby out with the bath water
To bite the bullet & give fear the cold shoulder the old heave ho

I've decided to go the whole nine yards cold turkey  Why not?
I've learnt to eat and enjoy humble pie daily

To let my hair down in the knowledge that accidents will happen
& that stitches  in time saves nine. So better late than never before I kick the bucket I will carpe diem and  so should you!

Lets Go and Get Them.

When I read this, I had a flash back to every english teacher I ever had when they tried explaining poetry to us. Where as I believe your concept is astounding, and I love what you produced, I think as an overall criticism, you should reflect on your product and see if you maybe could add more words to it that aren't advice driven. As a reader, I found that some of the lines cut corners in transitioning. Maybe to add depth to this add why you learned these lessons, or how you learned them, or what happened in order for you to learn your lessons. But, if you choose to leave your work as is, it's still an interesting piece. I like it, whether you decide to change anything or not. :)
