Bells

Bells

A Poem by Giorgio Veneto
"

A decasyllable surreal and spiritual poem.

"

Angels fly in moonlight sorrow of Springs
utopian scope formed thoughts and visions
spelled twin oaths, abstemious of reasons,
my sentiments did last along death's strings.

The mists I loved, on sky routes where fates
accompanied my burning, final dreams,
nacreous solitude covered glass themes,
margins are drawn in festal estimates.

I felt for you, above the sound of bells,
white reality embraced my sins - light,
pivotal stars blinked, smiled my crisp night
to spread on celebrating outcry of knells.

I welcomed swords' impertinent value,
betrothal eyes embraced star blinks of gold;
I felt for you; drawn in dimensions' mold;
my voice marries in bogs' where winds argue.
