Water

Water

A Poem by Richard

I am water,

I'll change into any shape you choose.

I'll be strong as stone,

Or as light as the air.

I'll be as shallow as a rain puddle,

Or as vast as the ocean.

I will be murky, hiding the dangers lurking within,

But so clear you'll behold all.

I'll be the downpour on your back,

And the rainbow over your head.

I'll burden you with my presence,

But i'll carry you as far as you wish.

Will I become a part of you forever...

Or will I slip through your fingers?

intriguing train of thought. You can imbibe it easily but it tends always to sip through your fingers
