12-12-12 Not really happy with this poem, but ya.

Why is my body screaming against me

Why does my heart say one thing and my mind another

My Spirit is willing but my flesh is weak

Is it my flesh or Spirit that rages on

 

What do I do

What do I say

What does it mean

These thoughts race

 

Internal war

Conflict ensues

On and on it battles

 

When will it stop

When will it heal

When will it be whole

More thoughts duel

 

I cry out

More and more

In agony I cry out

 

Do you hear me

Are you doing anything

Are you there

Thoughts clash

 

I pray for relief

I pray for answers

I pray for healing

 

Lord what is your plan

What am I to learn

What is the point

More and more thoughts

 

I ask for help

I ask for understanding

I ask for wisdom

 

How can this be so wrong

How could it be like this

How do I know what to do

And the thoughts continue

Such truthful words, a self battle inside, is never won.
I really enjoyed this write, makes one look deep inside.

Ah, that is not entirely true. An internal battle is won when one is held firm by truths rather than allowing the lies to gain a foothold. We are flawed as humans, so it is a constant battle, but I do not think we are destined to lose. The victory is already won. :)
