Death to Life

Death to Life

A Poem by Jeremia
"

1-29-09 Each line is suppose to be 8-10 syllables.

"

Wandering through the timeless world

Life freezes and I long for meaning

Hoping for closure to end the madness

Something to stop this unending process

Something to let all pain and suffering

Subside in a flash of brilliant white light.

A magnificent end to all trouble

Where I am without discomfort

In an endless world not far apart

Now is the beginning of a new start

And the ending of my beating heart

Now the beginning of eternal life

Which was only thought of in my dreams is

No longer a dream but reality

Now I don’t worry about if I will be

Worthy to be in this veracity

We together work as one mind

Perfection is now in our time

There is no more useless wandering

Or any time without true significance

This was outstanding, especially since you were working with 8-10 syllables. Kudos!
